Peek Into the Future: Must-See Vehicle Debuts

Of course, the crux of any auto show is present at the Vancouver International Auto Show as well, with a bevy of the latest models set to arrive in showrooms, and here on Cars.ca. Whether you’re after luxury hypercars, classics, custom models or the latest EV and hybrid tech, there is a vehicle for you. Headlined by the Canadian debut of the 2025 SSC Tuatara Striker, the rest of these models are making their Western Canada debut:

  • 2025 SSC Tuatara Striker: One look at the Tuatara Striker and you’ll understand why it was basically made to headline an auto show such as this. With a design lifted from a futuristic action movie, the Tuatara Striker is all too real, taking the world’s fastest production car title in 2021, and returning to change the game once again here in 2025, all at a scant $2.1 million USD price tag.
  • 2025 Ford Mustang GTD: The Mustang is more powerful than ever for the 2025 model year, roaring forward with 800 horsepower and a supercharged 5.2-liter V8. This GTD edition makes previous iterations shiver in fear over the latest performance tech found in this classic Ford model.
  • 2025 Toyota 4Runner: Iconic SUVs are kind of just what Toyota does. Of course, falling in line with the theme of this auto show, you’ll be introduced to the first-ever 4Runner Hybrid, as Toyota continues to offer electric and hybrid editions of their top mdoels. Get a preview of how you can take on both city and country roads across British Columbia with this SUV favourite.
  • 2025 Lincoln Navigator: Classic luxury in SUV form is the Navigator incarnate. The 2025 Navigator arrives at the VIAS with an updated design based around a smooth and gleaming finish. The latest Navigator exudes expected Lincoln elegance, along with some of their latest tech, like the Lincoln Rejuvenate feature for your most comfortable ride yet.
  • 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1: Chevrolet is debuting the latest edition of one of their classic cars in Western Canada with the 2025 Corvette ZR1. This model is anything but “old”, it being the fastest Corvette ever. How fast does 0-96 km/h in only 2.3 seconds sound to you? Sounds not too shabby to us…
  • Cadillac CELESTIQ: Cadillac has put major focus and effort behind the CELESTIQ for good reason. Their aim to revolutionize what it means to drive a luxury all-electric sedan is here for you. Literally here for you, as each model will be unique, featuring a collaboration between client and Cadillac to deliver a dynamic form of the vehicle just for you. Check it out for yourself.
  • Hyundai IONIQ 9: Revolutionizing the IONIQ line is the IONIQ 9, all-electric for efficiency and 3 rows for comfortability. It truly is all about space and comfort inside the SUV, with relaxation and swiveling seats and a slidable universal island. Outfit your family with an SUV fit to satisfy even the most discerning members needs, all the while with a new-age design. Picture your family in it here at VIAS.
  • Subaru Forester e-BOXER: The legend of the Forester has been fashioned for the next generation with Subaru’s e-BOXER hybrid system, promising longer range and ability. This new iteration of the Subaru will be available in spring 2025, but you can preview it right now at the Vancouver Auto Show, and truly be able to picture it in your driveway in just a few months.
  • Kia EV5: Kia’s latest electric revolution is the EV5. Learning from the EV9, Kia has made the EV5 even more dynamic as a compact SUV focused around its unique electric powertrain, along with all the top features you’d expect from a modern SUV, from passenger space to capability, always comfortable and compelling for everyone onboard. The 2025 EV5 won’t even go on sale until 2026, so see it a full year early right here.
